chemical test!

have been going thru 2 days of
chemical defence course
and today finally have to going thru
the chamber of tears..

been learnin all
types of drill..
and have to hold our breath
plus closing eyes..

it was all quite simple
until we have to prac all those drill
outside of air-con room..
then under the sun
and then have to do excerise in the suit...

so tis is wad happen..
after wearin the main suit and mask..
he have to attach a canister to the mask
*canister- a can tat filter unwanted gas out of the mask
and tis allow onli 1/3 of the usual air we breathe..
after some excerise and a run-down..
we enter a enclosed chamber..

the instructed gather us
then burn some white pellet...
immediately the room filled with white fume..
.......... > <......

instructor:"Change canister CHange!"
then we start to change a new canister..
okay lar.. i act smart.. i went to one corner
then breath in a bit.. wan to test the power
of the tear gas...
-sniff sniff-
nothing..

instructor:" decon (decontanminate) mask
i took out.. my mask...
!!! then all tat symptom appear..

felt burnin sensation around my neck..
then face hurt by the chemical vapour
all tis while my eyes still close..
must be i panic..
before i can clean finish and wear my mask
properly back.. i ... took a breath..
and start coughing...
so i did mess up all the proccedure

gas filled my mask
tears, mucous and saliva all rush out..
at the moment wan to run out of the room..
not onli me.. a few of us wanted to run out..
but instructor block the exit...
....

feels like dying ..
thank God instructor saw me coughin
then came forward to tighten my mask..
and my buddy hold me down..
if not i sure ran out and have to do it again..
lolx..

after so more coughin
felt better..
then the 'courage test' begin..
one by one we have to appoarch the instructor
then remove our mask..
and say our [rank] [name] [NRIC] loud and clear
so one by one went forward..
then instructor suddenly added..
"Open ur eyes to look at me before u can go..."

aiya.. everything quite blurr..
i onli remmeber i wan to ran out, but
someone blocking me
then my buddy is right by my side
so ya.. try to hold as long as possible..
then after finish the last test
was pulled out of the chamber..
and tats it..
all over..

the feeling quite shoik la..
mucous and saliva just flow out on its own..
and my blocked nose is cleared.. haha
^^ thank God onli need to do once in a lifetime..
